Where am I finding these veterinary AI publications?
While I wish I was talented enough to find all of these papers on my own, I wanted to share the method I am using to fill this database - and thank contributors who have helped.
How I'm using AI to find and categorize Veterinary AI Publications

I’ve set up an AI system to do the heavy lifting when it comes to finding new peer-reviewed research in veterinary medicine. It scans trusted academic databases and journals on a regular basis, pulling in articles that meet specific criteria with no manual searching required.

But it doesn’t stop there. The AI also categorizes each article by topic (like internal medicine, radiology, etc.), stage (experimental, validation, deployment), and subcategory (machine learning, disease prediction, diagnostic imaging, and more). It reads through abstracts and extracts key details to keep things accurate and well-organized.

The result? A constantly updated stream of relevant research that’s pre-labeled and ready to add to my database!

Publications are also sourced from Project Angel, which is designed to empower the veterinary community to contribute directly to a curated database of veterinary AI tools. Built as a user-friendly submission platform, Project Angel allows clinics, startups, researchers, and industry professionals to propose new AI products for review and inclusion. Each submission feeds securely into a structured Airtable database for vetting and potential integration into broader tools like Project Tally.
